LEBOEUF LITTLE LEAGUE

The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. The meeting was called to order at 8:43pm, by President, Garry Sargent.
ATTENDANCE: Darlene Haibach, Trevor Donnell, Tammy Cass, Ed Vorpagel, Melissa Kingen, Jeff Kuzma, Luanne Krolczyk, Brian Mitchell, John Holmes, Heather Johnston, Mike Thiemann, Steve Lesik, Garry Sargent, Colleen Strain
SECRETARY: The minutes were read by Colleen Strain, corrections were made and Trevor Donnell motioned to accept, seconded by Ed Vorpagel.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Report was read by Darlene Haibach and approved by Mike Thiemann and seconded by Steve Lesik. See attached report.
SPECIAL PROJECTS: Darlene reported there are still people who have not yet returned their candy money. As of now, 4468 Strombolis have been sold and there are orders still coming in.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: No new updates.
SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: The Minors and Majors have started games.
BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: All levels have begun games.
SAFETY COMMISSIONER: No new updates
CHALLENGER DIVISION COMMISSIONER: The first game is scheduled for May 14 at 10:00 and will go on the rest of May and June; teams will be needed to help with their games
UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: The Umpire Clinic was held May 1 at Family First and was well attended by 80 kids and parents from several different leagues.
PICTURE COMMISSIONER: No new updates.
TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: Garry is forwarding tournament information, as it becomes available to him. There will be no 10 and under girls’ tournament.
SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: No new updates.
UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: No new updates.
EQUIPMENT COMMISSIONER: A suggestion was made to make a last call/email to all of the coaches to double check their equipment and make any exchanges if need be. Also, an email will be sent to remind coaches to put bases away, rake their fields and clean up any garbage after their games and/or practices.
FIELD MAINTENANCE: Team Turf is still in the process of spraying the infields and around the fencing. "Bobcat" has completed the maintenance on the tractor and zero turn. For future "field clean-up" days, there are to be no practices scheduled; this day is for field maintenance only—Garry will send out an email.
INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: No new updates.
OLD BUSINESS: No old business.
NEW BUSINESS: $50.00 will be donated to the Union City Golf Tournament. Darlene will make the payment for the Waterford Self Storage Center for the next 6 months ($52.00 per month) and discussion will be done in future meetings to possibly change to another, less expensive facility.
