LeBoeuf Little League

The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. The meeting was called to order at 8:38pm, by President, Garry Sargent.

ATTENDANCE: Garry Sargent, Jeff Kuzma, Mark Rose, Mike Thiemann, Preston Yochim, Bob Mackenzie, Sam Weaver, Steve Lesik, Jim Kupniewski, Brian Webster, Brian Mitchell, Mark Lockhart, Stuart Carr, Mike Rose, Rick Dauson, Dave Shields, Ed Vorpagel, Trevor Donnell, Darlene Haibach, Colleen Strain

SECRETARY: The minutes were read by Colleen Strain, corrections made and Mark Rose motioned to accept, seconded by Ed Vorpagel

TREASURER’S REPORT: Report was read by Darlene Haibach and approved by Mike Thiemann and seconded by Brian Webster. See attached report.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: 6619 Strombolis were sold, some money still outstanding. A check was received from Sonneys for commission on the pictures for $539.00; Mike Herring will arrange for pictures for next year. Preston Yochim presented part of his Eagle Scout Project of field signs. LLL will donate $339.00 for his project-Jim Kupniewski approved and Mark Rose seconded the motion. Jeff Kuzma motioned to waive any outstanding fees owed by the Gebler Family due to their recent unfortunate circumstance.

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Website updated.

SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: Minors and Majors have started. Tom Roberts asked that no one fake bunts during the regular season, but will be allowed during District play. One player signed up late for the Majors.

BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: During interdistrct play, the 8:00 curfew does not apply for both boys and girls-let sunlight be your guide. Reminder for all coaches to rake your fields and put bases away.

CHALLENGER DIVISION COMMISSIONER: The Challenger Division has begun-they play on Field 3 every Saturday from 10-11:30 and can always use help with the kids.

UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: There are a lot of young (12 yr. old) boys and girls. Reminder for coaches to call your umpires first in case of a game rain out.

TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: Garry is sending tournament information out as it becomes available to him.

SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: No new updates

UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: Rick Bowers will take over for the 2011 Season.

EQUIPMENT COMMISSIONER: Darlene will purchase one more pallet of lime in 2 weeks. Greenhill Farms will be picking up the zero turn mower for service.

FIELD MAINTENANCE: Keys need to be given to the gas company for them to have access to check the well.

INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: Charter is now up to date. Mike Rose will have the rosters completed by June 1, 2010

OLD BUSINESS: Garry sold $300.00 worth of pants on Picture Day. Reminder that we will need to find a new picture commissioner for the 2011 Season.

NEW BUSINESS: The June Meeting is the same night as Graduation so the meeting will be moved to Sunday, June 6 at 7:00 at the Waterford Boro Building.

ADJOURNMENT: A motions was made by Jeff Kuzma and seconded by Ed Vorpagel to adjourn the meeting at 9:41pm.
