LeBoeuf Little League

The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. The meeting was called to order at 8:11pm, by President, Garry Sargent.
ATTENDANCE: Trevor Donnell, Tammy Cass, Ed Vorpagel, Darlene Haibach, Melissa Kingen, Dan Daum, John Holmes, Ryan Bickel, Rich Dauson, Steve Lesik, Mark McNerney, Mark Rose, Garry Sargent, Jeff Daniels, Megan Doutt, Dave Shields, Scott Greggs, Colleen Strain
SECRETARY: The minutes were read by Colleen Strain, corrections made and Rick Dauson motioned to accept, seconded by Mark McNerney.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Report was read by Darlene Haibach and approved by Mark Rose and seconded by Ed Vorpagel. See attached report.
SPECIAL PROJECTS: There were 352 kids who signed up for LLL this year; 259 boys, 116 girls and 4 players for the Challenger Division. Dan Daum suggested LLL inquire if LLL can be added to the "school district call system" to let parents know they can still sign up their children to play in the LLL March 27, 2011 will be the Draft, beginning at 1:00, at the Waterford Boro Building; Garry will send out a reminder email. The price of Strombolis will remain the same this year, which will be $3.00; "Jane’s Strombolis" will charge the same price as last year at $1.50, per Stromboli.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: No new updates.
SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: There have been 3 open gyms, which have had good attendance. The Coaches’ clinic will be March 20, 2011 at 9:00am at Iroquois; Garry will send an email reminder.
BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: There have been 4 open gyms with good attendance.
SAFETY COMMISSIONER: Melissa Kingen has completed the LLL safety plan.
CHALLENGER DIVISION COMMISSIONER: No new updates.
UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: Val Rose is working on the umpire clinic date.
TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: There will be a 12 and under girls tournament and 10 and under girls tournament June 4 and 5.
SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: No new updates
UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: Quotes are still being accepted until March 27, 2011.
EQUIPMENT COMMISSIONER: No new updates.
FIELD MAINTENANCE: No new updates
INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: Paid and certificate has been received.
OLD BUSINESS: No old business.
NEW BUSINESS: The Middle School Girls’ team has requested to use the fields and was approved. There will be more discussion in the fall regarding having sign ups in Waterford only, for the 2012 Season.

ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Trevor Donnell and seconded by Tammy Cass to adjourn the meeting at 9:30pm.
