LEBOEUF LITTLE LEAGUE

The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. The meeting was called to order at 8:50pm, by President, Garry Sargent.

ATTENDANCE: Garrett Sargent, Garry Sargent, Michael Thiemann, Steve Lesik, Louie Decker, Dawn Decker, Mike Anen, Melissa Kingen, Sam Weaver, John Holmes, Dave Shields, Rick Dauson, Dan Daum, Andy Dinsmore, Ed Vorpagel, Tammy Cass, Trevor Donnell, Darlene Haibach, Mark Rose, Colleen Strain

SECRETARY: The minutes were read by Colleen Strain, corrections were made and Mike Thiemann motioned to accept, seconded by Ed Vorpagel.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Report was read by Darlene Haibach and approved by Trevor Donnell and seconded by Tammy Cass. See attached report.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: 5626 Strombolis in total were sold; Jane’s sold them to us for $1.45 this year instead of $1.50. Suggestions were made to possibly have a pizza party for the team that sells the most Strombolis, as an incentive to boost sales, for next year.

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Website updated.

SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: All Stars will begin June 27. The 12-year-old girls took second place in their tournament.

BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: John Holmes noted that he tried to contact the Corry teams several time to reschedule rained-out games for Major Boys and was told Corry’s regular season ended as of June 1. Much discussion was done regarding the 10 + 1 –vs- the 5 run rule. Garry will bring up these concerns at the District Meeting to see if it is okay for the PeeWee Level Coaches to determine amongst themselves to implement the rule or not prior to each game.

SAFETY COMMISSIONER: No new updates

CHALLENGER DIVISION COMMISSIONER: No new updates.

UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: No new updates.

PICTURE COMMISSIONER: No new updates.

TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: Garry is forwarding tournament information, as it becomes available to him.

SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: No new updates.

UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: No new updates.

EQUIPMENT COMMISSIONER: The final date to turn in equipment will be June 27, except for those teams using equipment for All-Star play.

FIELD MAINTENANCE: Team Turf sprayed the Complex fields and will also spray the infields. Lance Goellner has offered to till Field 1 at the Summit Complex-it was suggested to offer him a sign for next year. The gearbox in the Kubota is fixed.

INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: No new updates.

OLD BUSINESS: No old business.

NEW BUSINESS: The All Star meeting will be scheduled for June 12 at the Waterford Firehouse at 6:00, for the head coaches only.

NEXT MEETING DATE TIME: July 14, 2011 at 8:30pm

ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Trevor Donnell and seconded by Ed Vorpagel to adjourn the meeting at 10:39pm
