LeBoeuf Little League
July 13, 2006
The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. Garry Sargent called the meeting to order at 9:02 pm.
ATTENDANCE: Steph Mitchell, Darlene Haibach, Brian Mitchell, Jeff Kuzma, Ed Vorpagel, Brian Webster, Joe Welch, Mike Hering, Garrett Sargent, Mike Falk, Stuart Carr, Mark Rose, Brian Smith, Kevin Litz, Rod Smith, Jeff Jones, Gary Ziegler.
SECRETARY: The minutes were read and approved by Brian Mitchell and seconded by Mike Falk.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Balance as of July 13, 2006 is $xxxx.xx of which $2987.84 is for State Tournament Money. See enclosed report for details.
SPECIAL PROJECTS: The league has decided to do the Pulako’s candy fundraiser. Darlene Haibach has decided to take this over from Jeff Jones. She will check into Romolo’s and Stefanelli’s to compare prices. Will check to see if Jeff Yost is interested in taking over the sponsorship project. Paul Peters will continue with the Stromboli fundraiser.
PICTURE COMMISSIONER: May 5, 2007. A thank you needs to be sent to Sonney’s for their $534.00 donation.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: The turn out for the Erie Sea Wolves game was horrible, roughly 50-75 people attended. Web site doing well.
BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: All-Stars are done or underway, no problems.
SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: 9-10 year old District tournament underway, no problems.
UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: No report. Gregg Roberts and Garry Sargent will take over this job for next season.
TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: Kevin Litz and Garry Sargent will be the District Tournament Administrators.
SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: No report. Will check to see if Shelli McCall will take over this position.
UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: Brian Smith handed in invoices for the all-star shirts. The league paid $3.00/pin for the July 4th fun day.
FIELD MAINTENANCE: There is a sheet in the trailer to keep track of how many times the watering containers are filled. This information will need to be turned into Bruce.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE: No report.
INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: No claims reported.
OLD BUSINESS: Will clean up McCall’s field. Showman wants cleared for fairground parking. Rod will take a look at what’s there and check with Mike Jenkins on how to handle it. Still working on non-profit tax-exempt status.
NEW BUSINESS: Shelli McCall did the 4th of July fun day. Families liked the pins.
NEXT MEETING DATE/TIME: August 10, 2006, 7 pm at the Waterford Boro Building.
ADJOURNMENT: Kevin Litz made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:05 pm; this was seconded by Joe Welch.
