LeBoeuf Little League

January 15, 2010

The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. The meeting was called to order at 8:05pm, by President, Garry Sargent.

ATTENDANCE: Trevor Donnell, Ed Vorpagel, Mike Thiemann, Arnie Wolf, Jeff Kuzma, Steve Lesik, Brian Mitchell, Mark Lockhart, Mark McNerney, Mark Rose, Gary Sargent, Darlene Haibach, Colleen Strain

SECRETARY: The minutes were read by Colleen Strain, corrections made and Mike Thiemann motioned to accept, seconded by Jeff Kuzma.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Report was read by Darlene Haibach and approved by Brian Mitchell and seconded by Ed Vorpagel. See attached report.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: No new updates

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Garry reported LLL will be teaming up with the Erie Seawolves to do a "little league day", which will be discussed further in future meetings.

SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: No new updates

BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: Mark reported the Coaches’ Clinic will be held on February 10, 2010. Mark also discussed a "pony-sized field" for 13 year olds, to be discussed further at future meetings.

CHALLENGER DIVISION COMMISSIONER: Heather will send out sponsor letters this week.

UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: All umpire payment forms will need turned in by the August 2010 meeting.

TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: No new updates

SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: No new updates

UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: No new updates

EQUIPMENT COMMISSIONER: No new updates

FIELD MAINTENANCE: No new updates.

INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: Darlene will pay the insurance bill by January 31, 2010

OLD BUSINESS: No new updates

NEW BUSINESS: Open gyms will begin in February. Mike Thiemann will check with Robison Elementary regarding availability for the open gyms. The Pulakos candy will be delivered February 16 to the Waterford Firehall. Remaining pants will be sold at the sign ups for $5.00. 221 Boxes of candy have been purchased (201 paid for and 20 free). The Buyout will remain at $20 and a box of candy will be $40. The sign up fee will also remain at $35 for single player and $65 for family. Late sign ups will be $45. Sign ups will end March 12. Sign up information will be distributed to the schools on February 8. The draft will be March 14.
