LeBoeuf Little League

The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. The meeting was called to order at 8:05pm, by President, Garry Sargent.

ATTENDANCE: Garry Sargent, Mark Rose, Heather Johnston, Dave Shields, Brian Webster, Steve Lesik, Jeff Kuzma, Brian Mitchell, Dan Dauson, Valerie Rose, Stuart Carr, Bob Young, Steve Krolczyk, Greg Roberts, Trevor Donnell, Ed Vorpagel, Colleen Strain, Darlene Haibach

SECRETARY: The minutes were read by Colleen Strain, corrections made and Jeff Kuzma motioned to accept, seconded by Mark Rose.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Report was read by Darlene Haibach and approved by Mark Rose and seconded by Brian Webster. See attached report.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: The sponsor fee will remain the same at $150.00

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Registration forms are available on the website.

SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: Open gyms will begin possibly at the end of February, if not, beginning of March, per Ed.

BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: Mark stated the District Meeting will be held February 14 at Harborcreek. The softball and baseball coaches’ clinic dates will be handed out at sign-ups.

CHALLENGER DIVISION COMMISSIONER: Sponsor letters have been sent out as well as reminders to previous players about the upcoming season. Heather is researching "flat bases" this year for the players in wheelchairs; Ed will possibly purchase them from the Erie Sports Store.

UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: Per Greg Roberts, the umpire clinic will be held in April, weather permitting, tentatively for April 11 or April 18.

TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: No new updates

SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: No new updates

UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: No new updates

EQUIPMENT COMMISSIONER: No new updates

FIELD MAINTENANCE: No new updates.

INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: Darlene stated the insurance bill has been paid.

OLD BUSINESS: No new updates

NEW BUSINESS: The coaches’ meeting is tentatively scheduled for March 28.

NEXT MEETING DATE/TIME: March 11, 2010 at 8:00

ADJOURNMENT: A motions was made by Greg Roberts and seconded by Stuart Carr to adjourn the meeting at 9:25pm.
