LeBoeuf Little League

August 12, 2010

The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. The meeting was called to order at 8:08pm, by President, Garry Sargent.

ATTENDANCE: Trevor Donnell, Darlene Haibach, Heather Johnston, Garry Sargent, Jeff Kuzma, Mike Thiemann, Steve Lesik, Dave Shields, Mark McNerney, Colleen Strain

SECRETARY: The minutes were read by Colleen Strain, corrections made and Jeff Kuzma motioned to accept, seconded by Mike Thiemann.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Report was read by Darlene Haibach and approved by Trevor Donnell and seconded by Dave Shields. See attached report.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: Darlene reported there is still outstanding candy money.

PUBLIC RELATIONS: The website will be down temporarily

SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: The Major Girls took took third place and the Junior Girls won the Franklin Tournament

BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: No new updates.

CHALLENGER DIVISION COMMISSIONER: Channel 12 came out to video the Challenger Division during their last game. Heather reported they had no volunteers this year from LLL players.

UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: No new updates

TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: No new updates

SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: No new updates

UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: No new updates

EQUIPMENT COMMISSIONER: August 21, 2010 from 10 to noon will be the final date to return equipment. Garry will send out an email reminder to all coaches.

FIELD MAINTENANCE: A motion was made and agreed upon to gift $800.00 to John and Fern Carr for their continued upkeep of the fields.

INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: No new updates

OLD BUSINESS: No new updates.

NEW BUSINESS: Steve Lesik will check to see if the storage units in Mill Village will offer any kind of discount to the League if we purchase units from them instead of Waterford. Darlene will change the locks for the storage shed that houses the Kubota—it will be discussed in future meetings as to who will have access to the keys. A motion was made by Dave Shields and seconded by Mark McNerney to donate $50.00 to the FLB Boosters for the September 18, 2010 Union City Golf Tournament
