LeBoeuf Little League

August 9, 2007

The LeBoeuf Little League held their monthly meeting at the Waterford Boro Building. Rod Smith called the meeting to order at 7:12 pm.

ATTENDANCE: Garry Sargent, Brian Mitchell, Jeff Kuzma, Brian Webster, Ed Vorpagel, Joe Welch, Darlene Haibach, Brian Smith, Greg Roberts, Mike Falk.

SECRETARY: Minutes were read and approved by Garry Sargent and seconded by Joe Welch.

TREASURER’S REPORT: See attached report. Report was approved by Brian Mitchell and seconded by Greg Roberts.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: Stromboli sale is all collected.

PICTURE COMMISSIONER: May 3, 2007.

BASEBALL COMMISSIONER: No report.

SOFTBALL COMMISSIONER: 11 year old girls represented our league and did very well at states. Everything went very well. Placed second at the western state finals.

UMPIRE COMMISSIONER: Good season. Umpires did very well. Look at Junior fees for next year.

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Web site getting lots of hits. Trying to get Donations for state tournament money. The Legion donated $500.00.

TOURNAMENT COMMISSIONER: If we host any District play, the board needs to be formed with someone that is not coaching. This needs to be in writing.

SCHEDULING COMMISSIONER: N/A

UNIFORM COMMISSIONER: Waiting for pants to be returned.

FIELD MAINTENANCE: Flags are down and put away from the complex fields. There was vandalism at the Summit Complex; flagpole broke, home plates need replaced, lots of field repair.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE: Kubota needs to be run on low range when moving heavy weight. Vote on something for John and Fern Carr at September meeting.

INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: No claims for this season. Need to find new commissioner for next season.

OLD BUSINESS: No report.

NEW BUSINESS: Nominations in September. Ask Attorney Jeff Hermann to help get our tax exempt #. Brian Mitchell will get a quote. Fund raisers needed for state money. $10.00 volunteer fee-get back when hours put in. Need to get list of players who are 10 and under, send letter to families to help run clinics. Volunteer at all functions, volunteer time to league.
