Tournament roster must be completed and presented by June 26, 2010 with a
maximum of 14 players. Players must be age 10 or as of April 30, 2010 to be
eligible to participate. 8 year olds are eligible. No players may be actively
rostered on any District 9 & 10 Yr. Old All-Star Team.
Registration ($150) for the tournament is due by June 21, 2010.
This tournament will be conducted with pool-play to determine the seeding
for a single-elimination championship playoff. Each team will play a minimum of
3 games.
All teams must be at their scheduled field one half hour
before game start time.
A one-hour, 45 minute time limit will be observed in all pool-play games. No
new inning will be started after the one-hour, 45 minute point is reached. The
start of an inning is defined as the point when the last out is made in the
prior inning. Time limits will not be effect in championship playoff games.
Each team is responsible to furnish one new game ball for each game and a
secondary ball in good condition as a back-up.
Each team will be responsible to keep their own scorebook.
Ten players will be utilized in the line-up. The 10th player must
be used as an additional outfielder.
The 10 plus 1 rule will be utilized. The offensive team will switch to
defense after compiling a ten run lead. Only one run shall score in each
successive inning that a ten run lead is held. In the case of a home run or
ground rule double, all runs will be counted.
A team losing by 10 or more runs after 4 complete innings will concede the
game. A team losing by 8 runs after 5 complete innings will concede the game.
All players must play at least 6 consecutive outs in the field
and must bat at least 1 time. If this rule is not followed, teams must forfeit
that game.
Pitching Rules:
8 warm-up pitches for new pitchers, 5 for pitchers in between innings
Pitchers may throw a maximum of twelve innings over the course of the entire
tournament and a maximum of 4 innings in a single game.
Pitchers throwing in more than 1 inning must have one game rest.
One pitch constitutes an inning pitched.
Pitch count will not be in effect for this tournament
Pitching stats must be turned in to tournament officials after each game
Any violations of pitching rules will result in a forfeit.
A pitcher may assume the catcher position within the same game
after pitching.
The Infield Fly Rule is not in effect.

official playing rules.
NO PROTESTS
– The Umpires’ and Tournament Officials ruling is
final.
No alcoholic beverages or tobacco products are permitted on the complex.
Awards will be presented to the players on the top four teams.
Unsportsman-like acts will not be tolerated from anyone
. Profanity or
misconduct by players, coaches or fans may result in ejection from the game or
tournament. In severe cases determined by umpires and tournaments officials, the
individual will be asked to leave the property.
Please keep in mind, this tournament is intended as a developmental
tournament for the kids! This tournament is intended to provide an initial
tournament experience for developing ball players with similar levels of
experience.
