LeBoeuf Little League

    Spring Baseball Tournament Rules

Coaches must have Official Little League team roster (with uniform numbers) signed by their League President and a copy of all player’s birth certificates.

If you might be short on players, you may not pick up any 11 or 12 year olds. Fill your roster with 10 yr. olds!

Registration ($100) for the tournament is due by June 3, 2007. Your official Little League roster with players uniform number must be turned in prior to June 3rd.

This is a double elimination tournament with the finals being held at the Waterford Sports Complex.

All teams must be at their scheduled field one half hour before game start time.

Ten run rule will be enforced after 4 complete innings or each full inning thereafter.

Only 5 warm up pitches between innings / 8 for new pitchers and no throwing down to 2nd base by catcher.

All players must play at least TWO full innings in the field and must bat at least ONE time. If this rule is not followed, teams must forfeit that game. (We want all the kids to participate in this tournament)

Adults can be used to coach both bases.

One pitch constitutes one inning pitched.

Pitchers may only throw a maximum of six innings per day. Coaches are required keep the pitching records with them and will be checked by the Umpire, Tournament Director or the other team if asked. The pitch count rule will not be enforced.

Extra Innings: At the start of the 7th inning, the last official batter in the lineup will be placed at second base to start the new inning. This format will continue until there is a winner.

For any rule not covered, please refer to the Little League Rule Book under official playing rules (not tournament rules).

Tournament may be shortened to a single elimination format due to poor weather conditions.

NO PROTESTS – The Umpires’ and Tournament Officials ruling is final.

Unsportsmanlike like acts will not be tolerated from anyone. This includes having players not on your regular season team. In sever cases determined by umpires and tournaments officials, the individual will be asked to leave the property. If they do not leave, the team they are with will be forced to forfeit the tournament with no refund of monies paid.

Please keep in mind, this tournament is for the kids! Many kids never get to play in a tournament format. We are trying to get these kids a few extra games during the summer.

THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK
